Shepherds Instructions 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

​

Peel and boil 200g potatoes until tender.

​

Mash the potatoes with butter and milk until smooth; set aside.

​

Dice the onion and carrots.

​

In a pan, sauté onion and carrots until softened.

​

Add 200g ground lamb and cook until browned.

​

Season the meat and vegetable mixture with salt and pepper.

​

Spread the lamb mixture evenly in a baking dish.

​

Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading evenly and creating a smooth surface.

​

Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is lightly golden. Serve hot.
