Farofas Instructions 

Dice the onion and mince the garlic.

In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

​

​

Add the bacon bits and cook until slightly crispy.

​

​

Sauté the onion and garlic in the bacon fat until fragrant and translucent.

​

​

Add the cassava flour to the pan.

​

​

Stir continuously to toast the flour evenly and prevent burning.

​

​

Cook until the flour is lightly golden and aromatic.

​

​

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if desired.

​

​

Stir in chopped parsley just before removing from heat.

​

​

Serve warm or package for later use.
